| Q. What is Dressing Your Truth®? |
| A. Dressing Your Truth® is more than just a dressing system. It could be called "lessons in Self-Discovery." In a nutshell, through this system, you discover your dominant energy, via a process called Energy Profiling®. You then learn how to dress in this energy . When you wear something that is in your dominant energy, it vibrates with you, helping you feel positive, confident, and powerful. |
| Q. Is it just about style? I already keep up with the latest fashions. |
| A. No, Energy Dressing goes beyond your clothing. People get so much more out of the classes than they expect. You will learn your "unique" style or "energy type". This is important so you can present your true face to the world. That is what determines how people respond to you and what comes your way. Dressing in your "energy type" is a communication tool. Bringing it in focus can change everything for you.
Not only will you look good, but understanding your unique "energy type" can mean you see yourself for the first time as who you really are. Your identity, along with your innate strengths and gifts becomes clear. This gives you an inner confidence and freedom. |
| Q. What is Energy Profiling®? |
A. In simplest terms, this is the process of determining your energy composition and type. All of us are comprised of the same four elements: nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon. Metaphysically speaking, every entity has a specific nature, and according to their natures, these fundamental elements translate into the types: 1 air; 2 water; 3 fire; 4 earth.
Each of these elements has a vibration, meaning there is an energetic characteristic to these fundamental elements from which we are created. Each of us has a unique composition and blend of these elements in different amounts and sequences, and each energy influences us in numerous ways, from the way we look to the way we think.
Your unique composition is your Energy Profile. Though we all have varying amounts of all four energies, only one can be the dominant energy, the energy that influences us more than the others. This is what is referred to as your Energy Type.
Your Energy Profile creates your unique vibration. When you know your Energy Type, you can learn what design lines, shapes, textures and colors are in harmony with your unique vibration. This gives you the skills to buy and wear apparel that looks and feels perfect on you! Self-knowledge of your energies also brings clarity to your unique talents as well as a better understanding of those around you. Hence you can develop not only a harmony of the self but also a sense of harmony in your relationships. |
| Q. How is my Energy Profile determined? |
A. Our energies are evident in our physical features and in the way we move. About 90% of our Energy Profile is depicted in our face, body, and voice. It is also evident in the way we think and process information, in our personalities, the way we act, and the way we manage our lives.
The initial assessment you will receive through Energy Dressing involves answering a list of questions. Additionally, the process will involve a study of your features, your hands, how you walk, how you stand or sit, the sound of your voice, and your mannerisms. These are all cues to your Energy Profile and identify which of the four fundemental elements is dominant in you. |
| Q. Does Dressing Your Truth® take into account body shapes as far as design lines? |
| A. The design elements that work with your energy can also work with your body shape. For example, if you’re very tall and lean and are a Two type energy, the long flowing fabrics work really well for you. However a Two energy who is stocky in build will wear flowing styles without the length. No matter what your energy, the clothes should follow the lines of the body and compliment it. |
| Q. What if the current fashion trends are not in my energy? |
A. Each season the styles and colors will change. When your styles are in stores, that’s a good time to make the most of it. Otherwise vintage and consignment shops are wonderful for finding the right design in your energy. Sometimes the article may have to be altered slightly, but you will be paying so much less anyway.
As for finding the right shade of color, certain fabrics can be easily dyed to meet the correct vibration. |
| Q. What happens if I'm not dressing my energy? |
| A. The apparel you wear generates an energy of its own that if not suited to your unique energy vibration, could serve as interference that blocks or hinders your own true energy from emitting through. If you have not discovered your energy, your current wardrobe may consist mostly of garments that create a disharmony with your energy. You may even look fashionable and stylish, but when you are not dressed to support your core self, what we see is the clothing and then the person. When you see someone dressed in harmony with their energy, you see the person first and then the clothes. |
| Q. What is Metabolic Typing? |
| A. One man’s food is another’s poison. There is no one-size-fits-all dietary solution. Just as some car engines are designed to run on gasoline while others can’t run without diesel fuel, every body has a unique engine of metabolism that requires specific kinds of food in order to function efficiently.
We take it for granted that we all look very different on the outside; yet we give no thought to the fact that there is a vast variety of metabolic and biological diversity among us on the inside. At one end of the spectrum are people who thrive on diets high in protein and fat. At the other end are people who function best on high carbohydrate, low-fat diets. You may fall into one of these categories or anywhere in between.
Even if you’re consuming only the highest quality foods and supplements available, it’s entirely possible that you’re malnourished because you lack what your particular metabolism requires to function properly. However, if your diet is tailored to your metabolic type, you can expect strengthened immunity; ongoing energy and endurance; a slowing of the aging process; and permanent weight loss without struggle, deprivation or calorie restriction.
When you eat foods that effectively support your own unique engines of metabolism, your body will reach its ideal weight. If you’re struggling and not enjoying yourself, you’re definitely not on the right diet.
